Noni’s Everlasting Glow was born during a challenging chapter in my own life—a time that taught me that when something doesn’t work out the way we hoped, it doesn’t mean our story is over.

 

As I wrote Noni’s story, I began thinking about more than just the child listening. I thought about the person holding the book—a parent, teacher, grandparent, or caregiver who may be going through a difficult time but still sits down and reads a story.

 

I wanted Noni’s Everlasting Glow to give children a magical story to enjoy, while quietly leaving something meaningful behind for the person reading it to them.

That message became personal to me, too. Life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined, but something beautiful can still be ahead. I kept moving forward and eventually found a new rock of my own—a new chapter filled with love, family, and new possibilities.

 

Today, my experiences as a mother, former preschool teacher, and storyteller inspire me to create stories that encourage children to grow, explore, and keep moving forward.

 

Noni’s Everlasting Glow is my first children’s book and the beginning of the magical world of Tales of Enoki.
